27 April 2017 08:00-18:00KTH Kista

Let's make tomorrow!

We proudly announce that our first ever alumni hack will take place on April 27, at our Kista Campus in Electrum. With this hack we want to reunite former students of KTH Kista and have them join forces with the students of today.

The theme is Digitalization and we challenge you to, in a creative and innovative manner, show the opportunities that tomorrow brings to society. As a participant you will form a cross-functional team of equal parts students and professionals. This, and Idea generation will take place during an inspiring afternoon pre-event.

All you need to know

Programme

Pre-event Wednesday April 26

Time: 17:15-18:15 Team forming and idea generation (Snacks)

Alumni hack: Thursday April 27

Time: 8:00 – 18:00 (Breakfast, Lunch and refreshments will be served)

What do I get to hack?

For now think about if you want to bring your Idea or join someone else's. There will be a pre-event where you will get the opportunity to pitch your Idea or listen in to other peoples great Ideas and form a team.

Why should I go?

The Alumni hack is an excellent opportunity to try new concepts, show-case you competence in Digitalization and hack with interesting people. All while having so much fun!

So.. this is a competition right?

We want you to have fun, to learn and to teach us. At the end of the day we will have a small expo where everyone, alumni and students, can go around and share the ideas and results of alumni hack. Of course, we will also finish off the day celebrating with refreshments and highlighting great Ideas.

Alright, can anyone sign up?

Any alumni of KTH Kista and students of year 3, 4 or 5 can sign up. We  encourage anyone with a passion for technology, design or product development to sign up. You don’t need to have coding skills, but you must be able to contribute something tangible to the team. Whether that is ideas, code, management or something else is up to you.

I signed up, now what?

We'll be in touch about the process of building or joining a team and an idea. For both alumni and student, the last day to sign up is April 20. We will get in touch with as soon as possible and let you know if you have gotten a spot.
